In the event of a fire, Seals the gap around the fire door to block smoke and fire, Easy to install & can be used to replace damaged seals, Made from graphite an intumescent material to British standard tested to BS 476-22:1987. The fire door keep shut signage should be fitted to comply with BS 5499-5:2002 in accordance with approved document B Volume 2, appendix B clauses 8.
Very Important Fitting Instructions
If fitting to an old painted frame some old paints contain led which nothing will stick to and should be repainted or removed, Fire seal can be painted over excluding the brush

Always use the alcohol wipe to thoroughly remove any contaminants from the door Frame
2. Remove the backing tape & position the brush against the door stop as indicated
3. Apply to both sides over hinges and latch plate. With a sharp knife cut around the latch plate allowing the door to engage. Apply to top of door frame cutting in corners ensuring a tight fit
4. For best results allow the adhesive to cure overnight
5. Apply fire door stickers enclosed
